Hydration is required during physical strain. Engaging in sports causes water losses that are directly related to the intensity of the physical strain, its length, temperature and humidity of the environment.

It is important that you hydrate before, during and after the physical strain to avoid the increase of the heart rate and ensure the good blood circulation. This allows for a better transfer if the heat produced by the muscles to the skin.

This is why tap water is the highest recommended during exercise.
